I finished my Super Simple Cowl on Saturday afternoon just in time for our town's tree lighting festival. I love this cowl! I've already worn it several times. It's been really cold the last few days; today it snowed.
The photo below is a bit washed out, but it shows the cowl's nifty construction. Mine is six triangles long and made from Noro Silk Garden color 84 on US 10 needles. It is soft, warm, and squishy.
I haven't had much time for reading during the last week, but I plan to download Deanna Raybourn's new Christmas novella tonight: Silent Night: A Lady Julia Christmas Novella. I am a huge fan of all of Deanna Raybourn's romantic Victorian mysteries.
At my house there is a great deal of elfing going on: sewing, baking, decorating, shopping, and making. I've started a pair of socks for my son Zachary with some Plymouth Happy Feet yarn that I had in my stash:
