Annie is such a sweetie. Since she and her husband left on Monday morning, I have been finding little notes all over my house from her: in my desk, in my tea canister....They say things like, "When I'm with my best friend it's always a wonderful time!" Everyone should have such a kind and thoughtful friend!
I finished reading Bone River, by Megan Chance. The first half was a slow but necessary set-up for a complex plot and characters--what an interesting story it turned out to be! Megan Chance is one of my favorite voices in women's fiction (along with Alice Hoffman's, Mary Sharratt's, and Deanna Raybourn's).
