The Coming of Light

This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. ~ 1John 1:5

The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world ~ John 1:9

And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.  And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” ~ Luke 1:30-33

 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." ~ John 8:12

The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. ~ Romans 13:12
